¡¡¡¡cardan axis could transfer the moving into axis running. There are mainly 4 structures: petal inserting, petal, global and spline global. It is of reasonable structure, advanced processing, high strength, wearable and firm performance.
¡¡¡¡When the driller is working, the rotor is planet moving and the transmission shaft is axis running. The connection must be cardan axis or flexible axis. So it is the most important part in screw driller.
There are several forms of cardan axis. It must be of simple structure due to the limit of well eye size. Overcoming many difficulties, it has high quality and performance in the international industry.
¡¡¡¡Petal cardan axis is of simple structure, high strength, complex processing and convenient using method. After several years¡¯ usage, it is a good part for screw driller.
¡¡¡¡Petal cardan axis (see the picture) is made of petal-like teeth (called gimbal in the picture) and attached tie-in. The middle part was hold by sphere and tee.
¡¡¡¡When it is working, the three petal-like teeth are joggled in turn. When the cardan axis is turned one circle, every tooth was joggled twice. There is only couple of teeth joggled at every instant.
¡¡¡¡The strength of the weakest point decides the max torque. The exterior rigidity, i.e. wearable ability decides the life span.
¡¡¡¡It the clearance is too large, more impaction will be appeared to make damage. If the clearance is above 5mm, it could not be used any more. The best clearance should be within 1mm.
¡¡Adopted high strength alloy steel, the shape of it is precise, the inner is strong and tough, and the surface is rigid. The cardan axis, of great strength and long life span, is famous among customers.
